A Community Conscience Trustee Receives a Great Honor!

The Conejo Valley Historical Society honored two community volunteers as its Don and Doña Triunfo for 2017. Pat Grant and Chase Lichtenstein, presided over the Fiesta del Triunfo on July 15 at the Palm Plaza Hotel in Newbury Park.

Pat Grant is a board member of Community Conscience who was also awarded Thousand Oaks Senior Volunteer of the Year award earlier in 2017. In addition she is a longtime member of the Conejo Las Virgenes Future Foundation, having served in many capacities and directed its youth congress for a number of years. She was also a member of the Regional Art Museum and led membership efforts as the group transitioned to the California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks where she served as a board member. A retired principal and school counselor for the Conejo Valley Unified School District, Pat retired in 1994.
