Sunday afternoon June 26, 2011 was beautiful, warm and sunny, a perfect day for a casual backyard party.  The Trustees of Community Conscience showed their appreciation to the dedicated, hardworking Mardi Gras Ball volunteers by inviting them to a luncheon catered by Roberto Reyes and family.  Homemade Mexican food was the fare of the day, Roberto brought a grill and we had fresh tacos, rice, beans, and green salad.  Our desire to lose weight was put on the back burner because the food, desserts, cake and ice cream Sundays were so yummy.  A good time was had by all.  To our volunteers, the Trustees and Staff of Community Conscience thank you again, you are the best, YOU make the Mardi Gras Ball the huge success that it is.  We could not do it without you.
