Community Conscience

Community Conscience is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that owns and operates the Human Services Center serving Thousand Oaks and the greater Conejo Valley in Southern California. Thirteen social services agencies operate rent free at the 22,000 square-foot Hillcrest building providing them with approximately $250,000 in savings per year they can otherwise use to deliver services. Our tenants include such groups such as the Conejo Free Clinic, Hospice of the Conejo Valley, Senior Concerns and Youth Employment Services. One government social service agency is also a tenant – County of Ventura – Human Services Agency.

Nominations Sought For 2018 Mardi Gras Ball

Community Conscience is seeking nominations for the 2018 King and Queen of the Mardi Gras Ball. Service clubs, community non-profits, and groups that serve the area are asked to send in nominations for the honor before November 17th. The nominees should be individuals who have made significant contributions to the Greater Conejo Valley over time through their actions, talents, dedication, or financial support. The King and Queen will be honored at the Mardi Gras Ball which will be held at the Westlake Hyatt Regency on March 3, 2018. Email completed applications to
